Direct from a family dairy in Enfield, CT – Smyth's Trinity Farm’s milk is outstanding. Single-dairy milk which results in unique and high-quality products. Richer taste and better flavor than industrial milk. Milk is pasteurized (sterilized) however not homogenized (fat is not broken up). Trinity uses rotational grazing and uses only manure on its pasture. Animal welfare is the basis of the Trinity farm as is respect for the animal, so cows are not given any artificial growth hormones. Bottled in glass bottles with BPA-free caps. Offered in glass bottles which are subject to a refundable bottle deposit.
Hastings Farm milk is a local favorite. All natural non-homogenized milk, pasteurized at a low temperature to preserve the freshest flavor. Hastings Farm is a multi-generational dairy farm located in Suffield, Connecticut. Their dairy farm began when Howard Hastings diversified the family's tobacco farm by adding a small dairy herd. His son Richie grew the farm, and Richie's son Larry and daughter-in-law Susan expanded the dairy farm to where it is today. Megan and Lauren, the fourth generation of Hastings to dairy farm, are carrying on the family tradition while trying to make it their own. In recent years they have again diversified the farm from strictly dairy production and expanded into natural beef and the processing of their own milk.
