COVID-19 Response

We believe our role in serving customers and the community during this time is a critical one. We care about our farm team members, customers, and products, and we’re evaluating the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in real-time. We will continue to update here about the actions Farmer Joe's Gardens is taking.

  • All farm team members, shoppers and third-party workers are required to wear face masks while working.
  • We are working with adjusted farm stand hours.
  • We are operating under social distancing guidelines, implementing enhanced cleanliness and sanitation protocols, and more.
  • We have implemented enhanced daily cleanliness and sanitation protocols, on top of our standard stringent protocols.
  • We have installed glass barriers to protect customers and farm team members and appointed dedicated team members to sanitization measures.
  • In order to serve more customers and reduce food insecurity, we are limiting the purchase quantities of high-demand items.
  • We offer contactless payment options.
  • We offer car-side, also referred to as curb-side, pickup. 
  • We offer online and phone ahead ordering.
  • Through our CSA we offer home delivery within our delivery routes.
  • All farm team members placed into quarantine or diagnosed with COVID-19 will receive up to an additional two weeks of paid time off.
  • All food and product sampling and demos have been suspended.
  • To ensure the health and safety of our team members and customers during this critical time, we are suspending our current return policy and all sales are final unless there was a quality problem with the product at the time of purchase.
