Refund policy

Deposits

All Rent The Chicken and Hatch The Chicken reservations require a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. Deposits are applied toward your total rental balance.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made after full payment has been submitted will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to us directly so we can work with you.

Rescheduling

We understand plans change. If you need to reschedule your rental delivery window, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability. Please give us as much notice as possible. 

Referral Credits

We offer a $50 credit toward your Rent The Chicken rental or adoption for every friend you refer who rents. Credits cannot be refunded as cash and cannot be applied to more than one rental season at a time.

Farm Store Products

Sales of physical products such as maple syrup, cookbooks, and similar items are final. We are happy to make things right if something arrives damaged. Just contact us within 7 days.

Animal Adoptions

All animal adoptions (chicks, hens, roosters) are final and non-refundable due to the nature of live animals.
